Hanami (花見, Japanese for “viewing flowers”

Hanami (花見, Japanese for “viewing flowers”) is the most important festival of the year in Japan. The programmatic Hanami party of the Roihuvuori Society and Japanese culture associations operating in Finland celebrates the cherry blossom. The event is an open park event where you can come and spend a picnic day and watch a program of Japanese culture.

The park is filled with Japanese-themed performances, Roihuvuori Hanami has various Japanese themed shows and food stalls and beautiful blossoming cherry trees. The event is free and open for everyone. The park has lots of space for picnics.

After seeing the event for 30 minutes, my husband said it’s enough & decided to go back.We were feeling like roasting in the sun. It was burning seriously. We can’t believe we cannot bear 20 °C sunny climate. 🤣But it’s totally different Sri Lankan sunny weather and finnish sunny weather.😂It’s nice to see other people enjoying sun bath.
