Wat Arun Temple in Bangkok

Bangkok has many “must-see” world-class unique attractions. The Wat Arun temple in Bangkok is a landmark temple in the west. Certainly, we recommend visiting. it’s also known as the Temple of the Dawn, it’s absolutely stunning, a masterpiece. Even if it’s not like visiting the Parthenon in Athens, we are sure you’ll be amazed by its architectural design. In this place, you will learn the history of many temples and forts around the area.

You can reach the temple by either road or river based on the area you stay in. Since we stayed in the Ekkamai area, we took the BTS train 🚊 to Asok. Then used MRT to Itsaraphap then walked 900 meters to wat Arun.

Try to be there as early as possible to avoid the crowd. The temple opens at 8 am and closes at 6 pm, so we went in the morning. but heard sunset πŸŒ… also amazing. You can walk around and watch the temple at your own pace and this a great place to take memorable photos.

The entrance fee to this magnificent Wat Arun Temple in Bangkok is just only 50 baht and make sure to dress respectfully for women covering the knees and shoulders. I would suggest not visiting in the heat of the day.

Furthermore, you can visit the Grand Palace and Wat Pho as they are very close to the Wat Arun temple.
